Drug maker launches NAFTA suit

Generic drug maker Apotex has launched a free trade complaint against the US government over a 2009 "import alert" issued over medications launched at two Toronto plants.

The company says it wants at least $520 million in compensation for an alleged violation of three NAFTA articles over the way it was treated.
