Canada ready to blast off into lunar mining?

There's a good chance "The man in the moon" could be Canadian.

Both the Canadian Space Agency and top Canadian mining companies could play a large role in plans to start mining the moon for resources in the next couple of decades, says a weekend Canadian Press report.

Between robotics like the Canadarm that reached out to space from space shuttle holds and the fact nine of the top 40 mining companies have Canadian postal codes, the report says Canada could play a prominent role in getting the world into outer space on a permanent basis.
